[Lungmen Daily Interview] Reporter: Today we are fortunate to have a special guest—the President of the Lungmen Young Entrepreneurs' Association, Miss Lin Yühsia herself! Recently, everything seems to be smooth sailing for Miss Lin. She's had one success after the other, taking over the redevelopment of several old neighborhoods and earning the praise of our residents. Special mention goes to the amusement park—my sai lou zai's always pestering me to bring him there! Ah, I feel a headache coming on already! Lin: It was my first time handling such a massive project, so I hope you'll all forgive me for any mistakes I might have made. Reporter: And so humble! I must say, though, you have a good eye. Before you worked your magic, these 'laan gai' and 'hak gai' were so infamous that even big shots would make detours around our less reputable alleys... Could you share with us some of your experiences on this project? Lin: 'Less reputable'? If any part of Lungmen is less reputable, then my colleagues and I are at fault. No one hates making money, so I need only bring everyone to one table and hammer down a price we can all be happy with. Reporter: True enough, but they've been called 'laan gai' since our parents' generation, yet you cut out those decades-old tumors in a matter of months, Miss President. I can only imagine you have some special friends at the table? Lin: Any connections I have are the ones I've invested in. As for the people I know, isn't it only natural to become friends with your business partners? Reporter: And here I thought you had some ace up your sleeve—or maybe it's a trade secret you can't disclose? Lin: Haha. I didn't realize you'd be so into gossip, sir. Reporter: Everyone knows how gang-infested these streets are. Who knows what trouble might be just around the corner... Lin: If I had an answer to that, I'd be the Chief of the L.G.D. by now. Though you're pretty promising yourself, to have so much information and be asking such incisive questions. Reporter: Hahaha, you flatter me. But I must confess one small regret I have—that in just one conversation you've made it that much harder for me to consider a career change! Lin: You're too humble. To borrow a phrase from Lungmen's fengshui masters: when prosperity blooms, bad things will naturally leave. I'd also like to use this airtime to ask everyone to support my work as the President of the LYEA. ...... 'Mm, this is fine. Tell them to publish it as-is.'
